As the duchess is nearing the end of her first trimester, reports said that her condition is slowly getting better. The royal princess has been experiencing "Hyperemesis Gravidarum," a condition that she also had when she was pregnant with her now 1 year old son prince George. This is "when a pregnant woman loses more than 10 pounds due to extreme and persistent nausea and vomiting." A royal official told ABC that she "may require supplementary hydration, medication and nutrients."
Middleton has canceled her appearances to several events because of her said condition. Good thing she was able to have her vacation recently with husband Prince William and their son in Balmoral Castle in Scotland. A source told Classicalite, "the couple and their 15-month-old are thought to have the entire place to themselves as the Queen and Prince Philip are currently not in residence. The castle and its surrounding estate have been enjoyed by the royal family since Prince Albert bought it for Queen Victoria in 1852."
She was also reportedly back to her royal duties, when she accompanied her husband Prince William, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip to welcome the President of Singapore Tony Tan, along with his wife, during their state visit to the UK last October 20-25.
Meanwhile, the Office of Prince Charles at Clarence House has released an official statement regarding Kate's condition and her due date. It reads,"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015. The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."
The royal couple has not yet disclosed the gender of their 2nd baby, but according to reports, their appointment with their doctor last October 15 was the time they also found out if their baby is another boy or girl this time around.
We will give you more updates on the Royal couple in the coming days.
