Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds are keeping their baby's gender a wonderful surprise for them. The expecting happy couple have decided not to find out their baby's gender, to add a bit more of the excitement they are feeling right now.
A source told Us Weekly that "Blake and Ryan aren't finding out what they're having," the insider continued, "They want to be surprised!"
The radiant mom-to-be had first announced her pregnancy last October 6 through her fashion website. The ecstatic first-time mom had posted several pictures of pregnant women, celebrating in particular "that special moment at the creation of family". Her post ended with a surprising photo of Lively looking happy while cradling her growing belly, which was lovingly taken by her brother, Eric.
Lively had first met 38-year-old Ryan Reynolds on the set of the film Green Lantern in 2010. A year after, Reynolds and Lively have started dating and then tied the knot in September 2012 at Boone Hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Last October 16, the blonde-haired beauty revealed to Us about how wonderful and loving Reynolds is as a husband. She said, "He's always good to me. That's like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me."
Looks like Lively is lucky to have a wonderful loving husband by her side as a source tells Us that the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants star is feeling, "super relaxed and mellow."
A few months ago, Lively had told Marie Claire magazine that she wanted to have lots and lots of babies and she wants it right soon. According to the 27-year-old Gossip Girl alum, "I gotta get started. If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would."
