With Veteran's day coming up on Nov. 12, Cheeseburger in Paradise will salute the men and women who have put their lives on the line for the U.S.
Cheeseburger in Paradise will offer a free meal for veterans and active military to thank them for their service, according to CNN Money. The tropical bar and grill chain is honoring veterans by extending a complimentary All-American Burger with fries to active and retired military personnel in appreciation of their courage and commitment to the well-being of the country.
Cheeseburger in Paradise recognizes the courage and commitment of both active and retired military personnel. To avail of the offer, guests must purchase a beverage worth $1.99 or more and present any of the following forms of identification when they order: U.S. Uniform Services Retires Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card.
"As an Air Force veteran who served in Desert Storm, it means a lot that Cheeseburger in Paradise takes the time to honor our veterans and recognize them with a free meal," Tom Kempsey, Cheeseburger in Paradise Vice President of Culinary told CNN Money. "We encourage everyone to come enjoy paradise while honoring these patriotic Americans."
Cheeseburger in Paradise is part of foodservice conglomerate Luby's Inc. Luby's Culinary Services provides food service management to 26 sites consisting of healthcare, higher education and corporate dining locations. Luby's operates under the brands Luby's Cafeteria and Fuddruckers and Cheeseburger in Paradise. The company currently owns 95 Luby's Cafeterias, 71 Fuddruckers restaurants and 8 Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurants across the country.
One of many signature entrees, the All-American Burger features fresh and never frozen, 100% USDA premium-cut beef with no fillers or additives, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced red onion, Claussen pickles and buns that are baked from scratch on-site throughout the day to achieve the perfect combination of crisp crust and melt-in-your-mouth texture. All burgers come with French fried potatoes. Guests can substitute a grilled chicken breast, turkey or veggie patty at no charge, and a gluten free bun option is available for $1.99.
