"Into The Forest" actress Ellen Page is sporting an ultra-short haircut for her new movie "Freeheld."

The 27-year-old "Inception" actress now lives up to her tomboy look as she sports a super short pixie hair cut for her movie "Freeheld" where she is also playing a lesbian partner of a terminally-ill woman.

Ellen Page's newest hair cut was seen on her representative's Lena Dunham's Instagram page where the "Into The Forest" actress was seen making a selfie.

According to Perez Hilton, the "Inception" actress now joins the ranks of other Hollywood celebrities who opted to go beyond the usual feminine look and choose for a more sophisticated and classic style.

Hollywood celebrities include "Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, and "Wrecking Ball" actress Miley Cyrus.

Other celebrities also include Jennifer Hudson and Charlize Theron.

The "Juno" actress is starring with 53-year-old star Julianne Moore in a civil rights drama, the Huffington Post said in a report.

Julianne Moore plays the character of a police detective and terminally-ill woman who is seeking rights to transfer her properties to her domestic partner, which is portrayed by the "Into The Forest" actress Ellen Page.

It was also recently that the production of "Freeheld" was banned from a New York-state all-boys Catholic school from filming in their vicinities that shall serve as the town hall of the movie.

According to the school administrator, the shooting was banned because of its "subject matter" though they had already released an initial permission for the shoot.

But the producers insisted that the drama is not to promote gay marriage but as an advocacy for civil rights.

The "Freeheld" production was now forced to seek for another location to film one of their most critical scenes.

Aside from "Freeheld," Ellen Page is also having another movie offering with openly bisexual actress Evan Rachel Wood for the "Into The Forest" film.

The movie is set to be shown next year.
