Earlier reports about the Daredevil Netflix series have it that the Marvel Comics-based show will shoot mostly in New York. According to Marvel Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, the setting of the show is the Big Apple where the characters of story belongs, particularly in Hell's Kitchen. Daredevil Netflix Series is in town but they are filming under a different name. It becomes something called 'Bluff' whenever production stars rolling. Citing locals and film permits, DNA Info reported that "Marvel's Netflix television series "Daredevil" has been filming in Williamsburg and Greenpoint under the code name "Bluff," using popular dive bar the Turkey's Nest Tavern as the setting for a criminal's hangout."
"While the "Daredevil" name has not been openly used by the production team, residents said the film crew told them they were shooting the Netflix series using the alternate title," DNA info wrote.
"City filming permits have also referred to a "Daredevil" character in notices about the shoot, with the production team behind the series also listed on the notices."
There's not much details as to why Daredevil Netflix series has to hide itself in a different name but here are the clear information you can have about it according to earlier spoilers revealed.
Veteran actress Rosario Dawson will star as the Night Nurse. According to the Entertainment Weekly, the "Sin City star will play nurse Claire Temple, who will aid Cox's Matt Murdock/Daredevil and may also take on the guise of another Marvel heroine. Loeb described her as a "nurse who works at night," indicating that she may inherit the mantle of Night Nurse."
Daredevil Netflix series' main villain, Wilson 'Kingpin' Frisk, who will be played by Vincent D'Onofrio, is no ordinary big bad-ass.
This new series from Netflix is expected to be released by May 2015.
