As early Revenge Season 4 spoilers revealed, Nick Wechsler's Jack Porter will undergo major transformation. Five episodes into the season, viewers have witnessed what that transformation was. From a simple bar owner, he is now a cop at the Hamptons. However, there's one thing that hasn't change in Jack Porter ever since he made an appearance in the first seasons of Revenge TV series. He still sport that sad face, sad eyes, sad everything. Will he ever find happiness? Well, that is something to be answered in the upcoming episode. You might already know why Jack Porter doesn't smile a lot if you are watching Revenge but Wechsler has another explanation.
In an interview with the Wrap about his exclusive Halloween playlist for Spotify, the 36-year old actor said that Jack Porter is said because that actor behind him is sad, too.
"I remember someone asked me in an interview, 'Why do you think Jack is so sad all the time?' And I answered, 'Well, they hired a very sad actor to play him.' It's kind of true. I think some of my own outlook or dark moods, whatever, finds it's way into the roles. It's not a transformation. It's finding the part of myself that's like this guy," Wechsler told the Wrap when asked why is he always receiving dark projects.
What is Wechesler sad about? Such an intriguing answer for him. As for Jack Porter, for a guy who lost the love of his life, his brother, and his father, how can you find time to smile? Well, maybe he will find his happiness at the end of the season of Revenge Season 4, or the next seasons maybe. However, the question is, will Jack Porter stay alive in the Hamptons filled with anger and deception?
In an earlier Revenge Season 4 spoiler from E! Online, Josh Bowman reportedly said that one character could die in the coming episodes. As for who will it be? The website didn't say anything.
Reenie: On my agenda: Revenge scoop from you!
Well played, but don't you mean your "revengenda?" Sorry, couldn't resist. But feel free to pencil in a funeral soon as death is coming to the Hamptons...again! "There probably is going to be a death this season," Josh Bowman told us. "There should be." And when asked if Daniel could be the one to bite the dust, Bowman answered, "Let's hope not!"
Revenge Season 4 returns for new episode on November 2. Aside from Wechsler and Bowman, the ABC series also stars Emily Van Camp, Madeleine Stow, James Tupper, and Gabriel Mann.
