Even though my professional experience had always entailed working for large or mid-size companies, ever since I entered the workforce my goal was to own my own business.
After researching various opportunities, I decided to go with Minuteman Press. I am now a proud franchise owner and my experience with Minuteman Press has been excellent from the very beginning.
The Minuteman Press team worked closely me in researching possible locations for my franchise. Without their help, I really would not have known about the best locations in my area. I would have just been taking a shot in the dark. I am pleased to say that with the help of the team at Minuteman Press I was able to select a location that is top-notch in terms of traffic and visibility.
Although I do have a background working in the business world, before I became a Minuteman Press owner I had no previous experience in the printing industry and I had never been an entrepreneur before.
I give high marks to the training program at Minuteman Press, which lasts for two weeks and covers every part of the business, from marketing to managing to using the company's software system. Everything was explained in clear language and all of my questions were answered promptly.
Even after I completed the training program, I continued to receive assistance from the company through a local representative who helped with all aspects of setting up in my location.
I can definitely say that I left the corporate world to become the owner of my own business at precisely the right time in my career. An increasing number of layoffs and fewer opportunities for advancement have become the norm at my old company. I am ecstatic to report that my Minuteman Press franchise is a success.

I had to stretch my finances a bit to come up with the necessary amount of liquid capital to start my Minuteman Press franchise, but I think time will tell that I made the right decision.
I had been working as an office manager for a large corporation but I always felt like just another cog in the machine and that I was not receiving enough opportunity to make any kind of a difference. I knew I wanted to become the owner of my own business and figured that going with a franchise was the best way to proceed. After plenty of research and some deliberation I decided to try Minuteman Press.
Like I said before, this opportunity is not for everyone and it does require an outlay of capital that might stretch the level of comfort for some people. If you are dedicated and hard-working, however, Minuteman Press could be the opportunity you have been trying to find.
Even though I was inexperienced in the printing and graphics industry, I believe I learned quickly and efficiently by working with the Minuteman Press office. One strong selling point for Minuteman Press is that the company has a proven track record of success and a well-documented history as a leader in the printing business and in franchising.
I like the fact that nearly every other business owner, small or large, that I encounter can be a potential customer for my franchise. I enjoy interacting with other hard-working people in the business world, whether they are entrepreneurs, franchise owners like myself, or representatives of a larger firm.
