The upcoming Samsung phones this 2014 are the most anticipated A series and the Samsung Galaxy S6. It was recently reported that the mid-range A series will be released early November.
As per the previous reports, Galaxy A7 sports a 5.2-inch full HD (1920x1080p) screen and runs with Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS powered by the new ARMv7 class Snapdragon 615 series Octa-core CPU (with Adreno 405 GPU), 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory. It is also rumored to a feature a 12.0-megapixel camera with full HD video recording, touch- focus and a 5.0-megapixel front camera. The speculated price range for this smartphone is between $450-$500.
The Galaxy A5 might price at $400 and will offer a 5.0-inch HD display, a Snapdragon 400 series CPU, 13.0-megapixel main camera, 5.0-megapixel front camera and a 3,200 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A3 will feature a smaller screen display at a 4.8-inch qHD (960x540p) screen, Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, Adreno 306 GPU, 8.0-megapixels rear camaera and a 5.0- megapixel snapper on the front and might be priced between $350 and $400.
Meanwhile, Samsung as the top phone manufacturer is reported that its handset profit. According to reports the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the lowest sales among the Galaxy S series.
In addition as per The Guardian, " Samsung retained its leading position in the global smartphone market during the third quarter, but it was the only top five handset vendor to record a sales decline. Apple, Xiaomi, Lenovo and LG Electronics all experienced more than 15% growth."
In response to its fall Kim Hyun-joon, senior vice-president at Samsung's mobile communications business said in a statement, "High-end smartphone sales result was somewhat weak."
He added, "We will fundamentally reform our product portfolio."
According to the data from IDC, it was surprising that Xiaomi's "year-to-year growth is staggering 211.3% in terms of shipment volume, highest among the top-five smartphone makers."(via IB Times)
