Miley Cyrus & Rihanna Aids Charity Gala: Wears Only Strips And Sequins To Cover Their Bust But Donated Half A Million Dollars!

| By

An annual event, AIDS Charity Gala was held on Wednesday at Los Angeles, California to show high-class escorts benefitting the AIDS research programs.

But instead of high-class dresses, a revealing Tom Ford bondage-inspired dress, featuring a few strategically-placed strips of cloth to cover the chest, was worn by "Wrecking Ball" singer Miley Cyrus, 21, and a jaw-dropping white Tom Ford dress with a dangerously high slit and purple sequins covering the bust was modeled by "Love The Way You Lie" singer, Rihanna, 26.

Miley added her style a punk touch with her short blonde 'do and dramatic cat-eye makeup in a long black skirt. She attends with her mother Tish, who was decidedly more covered-up in a silver satin dress.

While Riri partnered her look a further racy touch with thigh high black stockings and purple platform heels, with her dark hair in a sleek updo and a summery touch of a coral lipstick.

The pop stars both became the center of attention and the talk of the night because of their barely-there frocks, though they are both known for flashing some skin whenever the opportunity arises.

As reported, undesirable comments rapidly went out online:

Great cause, horrible choice of outfit. Looks like they were trying to out-slut each other. And I love Rihanna, but at a charity event? Really?????

Miley doesn't look like an escort, or high class. She looks like a girl trying way too hard to be noticed.

Even so, Rihanna donated 200 thousand dollars while Miley gave away half a million dollars. She says:

"I'm a little drunk. That's why I'm a half a million deep."

But then the pop singer got serious about the charity, saying:

"If I'm going to have a voice I would like to start an open dialogue about prevention and awareness and how people in the world have been effected by HIV and AIDS. Hopefully, I could break down people's walls that have been built up around sexuality. I'm obviously not too embarrassed to talk about these things, especially with young people."

The amfAR Gala, which benefits AIDS research, brought out a myriad of famous faces, including host Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Osbourne, Lea Michele, Dita Von Teese and Eddie Redmayne, January Jones, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.

Last's Inspiration Gala was launched in 2010 to celebrate men's fashion and style, whilst raising money for amfAR's lifesaving AIDS research programs.
