Earlier Hannibal Season 3 spoiler updates have it that Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) will be out in Europe in the first few episodes. If you can recall, the two characters were seen in the season two finale in a plane after Hannibal slashed Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) and killed Abigail Hobbs. They are not exactly running from the authorities, though. They are in Europe to hunt another victim. Reports also revealed that first few episodes will focus more on Hannibal and Dr. Maurier. So how long Will Graham will be out of the picture?
According to a Hannibal Season 3 spoiler from TV Guide, not really long. In the site's Mega Buzz post, Adam Bryant said that the gifted FBI profiler and Dr. Lecter's main nemesis won't be forgotten.
"Although the season premiere focuses heavily on Hannibal and Bedelia's relationship and their new life in Italy, Will Graham won't be forgotten," Bryant wrote.
He even added some more Hannibal Season 3 spoiler concerning Chief Inspector Rinaldo Pazzi, a character from the film and novel of the same name where the characters of the NBC series was based from.
"In fact, I hear he'll pop up overseas very early in the season and even cross paths with Inspector Pazzi from the novel and film Hannibal. While the pair may not be instant allies, it's safe to say that Pazzi, like Will, carries a lot of guilt about his own complicated history with Dr. Lecter."
In the movie and novel, Inspector Pazzi is the Italian police who was tasked to investigate the disappearance of a curator from the Capponi Library. He happened to cross paths with Dr. Lecter after he learned that one of his colleagues is working with Clarice Sterling who is searching for Hannibal. With large amount of money on the head of the cannibal doctor, Dr. Pazzi decided to chase him and when he did, he met his comeuppance.
