How to Get Away with Murder is one of the hottest TV series right now with Viola Davies putting up one of the best performances in a drama series. Her character is also one of the most compelling because of her powerful. The show hasn't seen a real villain in its first five episodes. However, each episode does not lack antagonists in the form of Annalise Keating's flawed students. These characters are enough to make viewers stay and ask for more. Not to mention that its plot and script are also among the bests.
If you are looking for someone to fully hate in How to Get Away with Murder, you can release all your angst out on Matt McGorry's Asher Millstone. The character of McGorry, who is known for role as John Bennett in Netflix's Orange is the New Black, is known as the Doucheface in the ABC drama series. According to the 28-year old actor, he is the Pornstache of the show. In case you don't know, Pornstache, played by Pablo Schreiber, is one of the antagonists in the OITNB who take advantage of weaknesses of the female prisoners.
"Pornstache is more sadistic than Asher," McGorry told in an interview with TV Line, "but you see him falling in love with Daya [on Orange]. With Asher, you get moments of humanity like that as well."
Asher will be the featured character in How To Get Away With Murder's next episode. According to a press release, Asher is the son of a judge who sentenced to death a relative of one of Keating's clients. He is already an influential person outside of the university and that strength will come into play next episode called Freakin' Whack-a-Mole. His first victim? Annalise Keating.
"You see a tiny bit of a power shift when Asher has something that Annalise wants, and I use that to my benefit," McGorry says. "I don't know if people expect him to do that ... but I think Asher is smarter than he leads on. He's not the type of person who wants to be forward about his intelligence; he likes to play dumb sometimes."
