A series of small lies will eventually roll into "big balls of evil" -at least that's what Jane has been adhering to ever since her abuela told her about it. That's also the lesson that she will learn to break in this episode. Read on for this week's 'Jane The Virgin' recap.
Knowing that she did not want to become her mother, Jane holds her grandmother's little life lessons dearly and religiously. That didn't stop her from becoming an unwed pregnant woman anyway. So, she decides to do what she should have done before getting accidentally getting pregnant-lose her virginity.
Before she can do that, however, she has to control her crazy pregnancy hormones first. She also has to stop herself from feeling anything remotely romantic for Rafael. Her hormones she can brush off, but her new discovered feelings, not so much.
Michael is quite excited for his night with Jane but he has to deal with several complications as well. One of those is Petra and the necklace she left behind in Zos' room, which has become a crime scene after the shady hotel manager was found dead during a party. He tampers with evidence just to stop Petra's affair with Zos from being exposed. Rafael and Petra's divorce would stop Jane from giving up the baby and Michael definitely didn't want to keep it.
Moving forward in this 'Jane The Virgin' recap, Xiomara still hasn't told Jane about the real identity of her father. Rogelio, on the other hand is just too excited to listen to Xo's warning to stay away from their daughter for now. He visits her at the hotel and uses his status as a telenovela star to get close to his unknowing daughter.
Later that night, Jane pushes through with her plans to sleep with Michael despite her grandmother's protests but once again gets distracted along the way. Her feelings for Rafael are starting to grow and she just can't ignore them any longer. In the end, they don't do it.
When asked about her hesitation later, Jane lies to Michael for the first time and says her grandmother stopped her. Michael decides to move the wedding to two weeks but Jane doesn't look too happy about it. Is she having second thoughts now?
On the other hand, Rafael is finally clued in to Petra and Zos' affair. Will this push him to file a divorce or will he stay with Petra for Jane to still give him the baby?
