Uh-oh! Is an outfit war coming out?
The 42-year-old actress, Gwyneth Paltrow, was seen in a Tom Ford tuxedo at the 2014 L.A. Inspiration Gala on October 29. It looks like a season for tuxedos with nothing on the inside as Gwyneth's outfit looks a tad similar to what Jennifer Lawrence wore on October 13 at to the Serena premiere.
The Hunger Games actress donned a tuxedo-inspired coat dress with her cleavage bared.
As the event Gwyneth attended honored Tom Ford, the actress stole the spotlight wearing the designer's plunging black jacket and matching slim-fit trousers, which is perfect for the occasion. To complete the daring look, the Shallow Hal actress tied up her long blonde locks into a tight ponytail. She then added a red statement lip as well as Harry Winston diamonds.
According to designer Antonio Berardi, who has brilliantly created some of the actress' most revealing red carpet looks, "Gwyneth manages to bridge the gap of glamour and modernity," he continued to tell Grazia magazine, "She makes things look iconic!"
But Gwyneth's look seem to be memorable, as two weeks ago, Jennifer Lawrence donned a tuxedo-inspired coat dress by Dior in London. The X-Men actress wore black pumps and pearl earrings on the fashion front to complement the dress and then topped it off with a rose-hued lip and tousled waves to finish.
Jennifer Lawrence and Gwyneth Paltrow have been in the news for sometime as Jennifer Lawrence had dated Gwyneth's ex-husband, Chris Martin. After just four months of dating, Jennifer also split up with Martin, citing difficult work schedules but there were some speculations that Gwyneth may have played a part in J-Law and Martin's split.
In 2003, Paltrow married Martin, member of British rock group Coldplay. They have two children together: daughter Apple Blythe Alison Martin (born 2004) and son Moses Bruce Anthony Martin (born 2006).
