The Grimm is back... or not.
Several spoilers and speculations have been discussed regarding Nick's fate without his powers in the latest season. Will he enjoy living a semi-normal life or will he be craving to see (and fight) Wesens again? Last Friday's premiere finally let fans in on what happened after season three's horrific finale. Read on for the 'Grimm' season 4 recap.
Nick and Juliette along with Trubel and Hank drive straight home after leaving Monroe and Rosalee's ruined wedding. After seeing the swarm of cops at the house, they try to come up with a believable lie to explain the ex-FBI agent that Trubel beheaded. With Nick and Hank's encouragement, she manages to give them a plausible version of the story, even with the FBI watching nearby.
One of the agents, however, turns out to be a Wesen. She looks very suspicious but scared as well, seeing as she's going to be dealing with a Grimm. She lets her go for now.
Will she become another Wesen ally for Nick and Trubel or will she complicate things more for them? Future 'Grimm' season 4 recaps will keep an eye on this interesting character.
Another intriguing face is a new female character (Louise Lombard), who visits Captain Renard at the hospital.
Captain Renard barely survives surgery and it looks like he won't be able to make it. He even dies at one point but, based on past spoilers, we know he'll make it. The woman looks on as doctors try to revive him. Will she help him recover? Is she Renard's missing Hexenbiest mother?
She will reportedly play "a mysterious woman connected to the royal families." She will also be very interested in finding Adalind's baby. However, we still don't know if she's a friend or a foe.
Another new character was introduced as well - the vile Wesen that absorbs memories through tentacles, leaving his victims in a state of dementia.
With Nick's ability gone, he has no choice but to ask Trubel for help in dealing with Octo-man or Gedächtnis Esser. She had already proven herself capable of being a true Grimm last season, but will she follow Nick's instructions this time?
His police work isn't the only thing he needs to adjust to without his Grimm powers. He thinks not having his abilities will be a good thing for his relationship with Juliette. His girlfriend, however, doesn't look very convinced.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Wu becomes more and more suspicious and agitated. Reggie Lee (who plays the cheeky officer) revealed that Wu will be "pissed" and he will be demanding answers from Nick and Hank soon.
Will Wu finally figure the truth out? Will Trubel stay out of trouble this time? When will Nick get his powers back?
