| By

Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman has reportedly underwent surgery and has been treated for the third time in a year for skin cancer. One thing the 46-year-old star advises is "Sunscreen!"

The Australian actor had previously gone public with his skin cancer experiences last November 2013 and May 2014. Hugh Jackman's rep had confirmed to Us Weekly that the actor was recently treated for his third basal cell carcinoma in 12 months.

Fans and supporters are thankful and happy that the hunky actor is "all good" now, according to his rep. In the Les Miserables actor's Instagram post last Monday, October 27, he definitely made his advice clear. Jackman shared a cover image of Baz Luhrmann's speech song "Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen)," and captioned it, "SUNSCREEN!"

Jackman had previously admitted to the Associated Press that he was likely to fight against the disease yet again in the future. According to the Kate and Leopold actor, "I'm realistic about the future and it's more than likely that I'll have at least one more but probably many more, which is not uncommon for an Aussie, particularly from English stock growing up in Australia where I don't remember ever being told to put sunscreen on."

The X-men actor continued on his journey with the disease,"But the beauty of this is it's all preventable, it's just about getting proper check-ups. I can be typical man, a little lazy, I couldn't be bothered and now I'm not lazy at all."

Last Sunday, The Emmy Award Winning actor was seen walking his dog in New York City with a bandage over his nose where the carcinoma had been removed.

Aside from acting, Hugh Jackman is also producer and singer involved in film, musical theatre, and television. He married Deborra-Lee Furness in 1996 have two adopted children, Oscar Maximillian and Ava Eliot.
