Samsung Galaxy S5 is tipped to receive update to Android Lollipop 5.0 starting on December as SamMobile claims and IBTimes added " which could prove as the fastest jump so far by any Samsung flagship to Google's re-engineered mobile operating system."
The site also added that when the update rolls out it will be gradual and it will take weeks for the Android Lollipop 5.0 update will be available in all regions.
A demo video the Samsung Galaxy S5 running in Android L already surfaced online. As it was evident Samsung that hasn't given up on its TouchWiz UI.
Meanwhile, ChristianPost Motorola plans to deliver the upcoming Android L 5.0 update to its flagship and older.
The website also added a list of Motorola phones that are compatible with the update this list include: The first and second generation Motorola X, the Moto E, the 4G LTE variant of the Moto G, the first and second generation of the Moto G, the Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and the Droid Mini.
On the other hand, other phone manufacturers are gearing up for the Android L Update.
HTC announced that HTC One M8 will be receiving the update. HTC has to confirm other devices that might be included in its list of devices to receive Android L update.
Sony announced on its website that the Sony's Z series smartphones and tablets will be among the first devices to receive the update. "We'll be making Sony Mobile's Android L upgrade available for the entire premium Z series: including Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3v, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact." Sony announced on its website .
The website also stated that Sony Android 5.0 update will only come out in early 2015.
