Kim Kardashian was not a spoiled kid.
London Evening Standard reports that despite Kim K’s rich family, the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians Star and her siblings had to earn their own money saying, they 'worked hourly gigs in retail and at their father's office’. She also talked about how even as a teen her parents taught her to appreciate the value of a hard-earned dollar.
"I saved up for this Dolce & Gabbana dress I really wanted, or like in high school these Prada shoes that my parents wouldn't buy me," the 34-year old said "And I remember they were $400, and I had to save for the entire year to get them."
Kim added, "We didn't get anything [from our parents]," she said. "We had to get a job if we wanted it. So I was working in a clothing store and I would save and save." With that being said, the question now is whether her daughter North West will have to work as well even though her parents are famous rapper Kanye West and business mogul Kim Kardashian and she said ‘she will work for what she wants too’
"I was saying that earlier to my friends, ‘I wonder what [North's] first job is gonna be'. And they were like, ‘What? She's gonna have a job?' and I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Of course she is'. She will have to work for what she wants."
When people asked her what North’s first job would likely be she answered, “I don’t know. She loves fashion. Maybe she’ll be a designer. Who knows? It’s too early to tell.”
