The holiday is coming very soon! 29-year old actress Anna Kendrick has joined Kate Spade New York as the new face for the brand's holiday campaign.
The Pitch Perfect actress just did an Old Hollywood inspired spread for Kate Spade, photographed by Cedric Buchet in Las Vegas.
Kate Spade New York is a famous American fashion design house. The company started with handbags but eventually diversified to other products like clothing line, beauty products, shoe and a home collection brand.
Starting 2015, Kendrick will officially be face for Kate Spade New York's "The Year of Adventure. The Into The Woods actress will mainly be creating films and develop social media campaigns for the brand.
According to the President and Chief Creative Officer of Kate Spade, Deborah Lloyd, "Anna embodies the Kate Spade New York spirit in so many ways. She is beautiful, smart, hilarious and wildly talented."
The brand believes that Kendrick is perfect for the job as she embodies everything that Kate Spade is looking for to be their partner and promote their brand. In gorgeous photo shoot, Kendrick sat beside a grand piano while donning a classy white shirt dress with a black ribbon tie.
Anna Kendrick is an American actress and singer. She rose to prominence after portraying the character of Natalie Keener in the film Up in the Air in 2009 together with the dashing George Clooney. The film won her an Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress.
Kendrick also appeared as Jessica Stanley in the Twilight saga from 2008 to 2011. Since her musical skills were highlighted in the movie Pitch Perfect in 2012, she released a hit song in 2013 called Cups (When I'm Gone), which became a number two hit on Billboard's Adult Pop Song chart.
