Passion is the root of romance, which is needed particularly when making a romantic or sensual movie. In this case, it's the upcoming erotic film Fifty Shades of Grey which every woman is thrilled and excited about.
But sources revealed to US Weekly that there seems to be a lot of re-shoots going on in the set. This was due to the lack of chemistry between the main cast, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, who plays Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the film. According to the insider, the producers thought the existing takes did not feel "passionate".
25-year-old Dakota Johnson is an American actress and model. James Dornan on the other hand, is a 32-year-old Northern Irish actor, model, and musician. He played the character of Sheriff Graham Humbert in the ABC series Once Upon a Time and as XXX in the Northern Irish drama series The Fall.
Dornan dated actress Keira Knightly from 2003 to 2005 and married English actress and singer-songwriter Amelia Warner in 2013. That same year Warner gave birth to a baby girl.
Johnson was initially cast with Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey but Dornan replaced Hunnam as Gery last October 2013.
Another insider also revealed that, "Dakota isn't coming off sexy enough. [Anastasia Steele] needs to be naive, not a dishrag." Meanwhile, a representative for Universal Pictures had denied that there's a problem with the main characters' chemistry. The rep said that "No one should question the heat or intensity of our actors."
Fifty Shades of Grey is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by E.L. James. The movie is set to be released on February 13, 2015. It is the first part of a trilogy that revolves around the relationship of business magnate Christian Grey and a college graduate named Anastasia Steele.
