| By

Canadian phone maker BlackBerry is continually making some noise with its recent launch of the new BlackBerry Passport and how it has been sold out in several online shopping sites such as amazon.com. But here comes another good news from the Canadian brand with the upcoming release of their new flagship phone, the BlackBerry Q20, otherwise known as the BlackBerry Classic set to release either November 2014 or early 2015.

The new device is highly anticipated not only by BlackBerry fans, but also by curious smartphone users who try to scrutinize every single new mobile device emerging as of late. Based on leaked images and details of BB Q20's specs and features, however, it seems to some that it has a lot of similarities with that of BlackBerry Q10, which leaves the users with questions of what makes these 2 devices different and what will push them to buy the new Classic. One thing is for sure though- both phones have a QWERTY keypad which is truly a trademark of the brand.

Q10 has a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED display, which means low-power is needed when the user is browsing. The handset has a resolution of 720 x 720 px at 330ppi. On the other hand, BlackBerry Q20, is believed to feature a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 1440 px at 582ppi. Both phones feature a dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, with 2GB RAM memory. Q10 has 16 GB of built-in memory storage but can be upgraded with a microSD card for additional 32 GB of memory space. As for the Q20, since everything is still based on pure assumption, it might be available in a 32GB model. Both also support NFC and 4G. The Classic is rumored to be running Blackberry 10.3 OS, supposedly an unreleased OS. while the BlackBerry Q10, runs on BlackBerry OS 10. Moreover, the new Blackberry Classic is believed to be the thinnest handset Blackberry has ever produced having a dimension of 130 x 72 x 9mm while the BBQ10 measures at 120 x 67 x 10.4 mm.
