During Ed Sheeran and girlfriend Athina Andrelos' romantic summer getaway in Ibiza last July, the British pop star also performed for vacation-goers. His new girl proudly supported him in the sidelines.
According to GQ UK, "the kid just can't wipe the smile off his face" during the after party as Andrelos stayed beside him the whole time.
A previous report said that the 'Thinking Out Loud' singer and his girlfriend were "very happy together" and it looks like things are just getting better.
"Things are going well for Ed and Athina, they are very happy together - she's very cool," a source reportedly told the Sun. "Life is really good. They're having a great time but aren't living in each others' pockets."
He had been with Andrelos for seven months at the time of the GQ interview and according to the publication; he's more than a little happy with the relationship.
The 'Don't' singer revealed, "It's the longest I've ever dated anyone, so I guess it must be going pretty good, right?"
Ed Sheeran's girlfriend, who he's been dating for nine months and counting, isn't a part of the entertainment industry. She, instead, works for Jamie Oliver as a food stylist. Sheeran had been trying to keep their relationship as private as possible.
The 'Lego House' hitmaker had been in relationships that apparently didn't last longer than seven months. The known ones had been with singers like himself.
He previously told some 50 lucky fans during a gig for Amazon that he used the "musician card" to attract "long term relationship women" in the past. It usually worked but it doesn't last very long because "girlfriends get tired of the artist thing very quickly."
He shared in past interviews that he doesn't sing to Andrelos, pointing out that the gesture "is really creepy and weird."
