The classic "Tekken" series unleashes another anticipated installment, "Tekken 7". New characters, the gameplay on Unreal Engine 4 reviewed by critics and nearing release date revealed!
Upon "Tekken 7" release date, gamers will experience an updated version of the classic game - in terms of environment and high technology make - but of course, the basic theme of fighting remains - with a few upgrades.
"Tekken 7" is also announced to make use of Unreal Engine 4 that will allow it to be developed for numerous platforms.
According to Polygon, upon "Tekken 7" release date gamers will have answers to hanging questions on the feud among the Mishima family including Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya and Jin Kazama, and the source of the so-called "Devil Gene".
Tekken Zaibatsu updates on character and story explains that while there will be returning characters from previous installments, there are of course new ones that will battle it out.
Among the first characters revealed are Katarina and Claudio - a Latin American fighter who is master of the Savate art and an Italian light-wielding combatant, respectively.
Returning characters who have made names for themselves from the previous "Tekken" franchise include Alisa Bosconovitch, Asuka Kazama, Bryan Fury, Feng Wei, Heihachi Mishima, Hwoarang, Kazuya Mishima, King, Lars Alexandersson, Leo, Lili, Ling Xiaoyu, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Sergei Draguno, and Steve Fox.
During the 2014 Evolution Championship Series, Katsuhiro Harada of Namco shared news about the Unreal Engine 4-released 'Tekken 7'. He says, "With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it. Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring 'Tekken 7' to any platform we desire."
This means that although there may be an officially announced release date for "Tekken 7" arcade, home consoles as in PlayStation and Xbox for "Tekken 7" release date might not be farther behind.
"Tekken 7" arcade release date has been set for February 2015; other platforms such as PlayStation and Xbox for "Tekken 7" release date remains unofficial.
