It seems that The Incredibles 2 release date has been announced, according to rumors.
As previously reported, Disney confirmed that indeed there will be a sequel for the superhero-family animated movie, and it is already in the works. This confirmation happened during Disney's Investor's meeting held last March 18, 2014 by Disney President Bob Iger.
The director for the first film, Brad Bird is set to again direct and write the sequel, which will surely be a hit to kids and kids at heart. Initially, it was reported that Bird was having second thoughts on whether he would make a sequel or not.
"Pixar does not look at sequels as a financial plan. We feel we have a relationship with the audience and that they believe in each movie we put out. We believe completely in every movie we put out." Bird told sources.
"If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than that first film, then I'd love to return to that world, but it would to be story first."

3D Director, Josh Hollander, hinted release dates to be sooner than fans think, saying: "Right now, we're working on The Incredibles, which is a lot of fun in 3D. I'm not sure what the release strategy for it will be. It's been an interesting challenge to work on technology because - while the film was released 10 years ago - the technology is even older as it took four years to make.
As to rumors of the actual The Incredibles 2 release date, There have been reports that the release date will be on December 23, 2015 - just in time for Christmas with the family.
