Taylor Swift Shows The Voice Judges How Quirky She Is On The Show's Promo; Blake Shelton To The Welcome To New York Singer: Are You A Crazy Girl?

| By

Taylor Swift's "The Voice" guesting gig as a mentor is about to start and the promo NBC released for it showed just what we might expect from the "Welcome To New York" singer.

We've heard of the singer's charm but the clip showing Taylor Swift on "The Voice" reinforces that idea. The video, which was released on Wednesday morning on NBC's "Today" show, begins with the country-turned-pop superstar jokingly asking "Are we on camera now? Where are they? This is terrifying. Do you guys have drones?"

It appears that Swift is not afraid to show her silly side as one can see on the video how country star Blake Shelton introduced himself to Swift, saying "I'm known for my sweetness," and in reply, Swift said "I'm known for my dancing."

"How come when you refer to crazy girls you never throw yourself in that category?" Sheldon asked Swift jokingly. "I just feel like it's assumed and understood," the singer replied.

Swift will act as a universal mentor, which would make her work alongside all the four coaches this season (Shelton, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams).

In a previous interview with E! Online, Swift admitted that Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was a huge force in her decision to be on the talent search.

"I'd seen that Chris Martin had done it and Chris is one of my favorite frontman of one of my favorite bands," she said. "So I went and researched what he had done...and when [NBC] reached out to me, I thought you had to watch people and tell they're good or bad and it's not that at all."

Taylor Swift's "The Voice" guesting as a mentor will have her appear in three episodes of the show starting on Monday, October 27. Her first pop album titled "1989" will also be released on the same day.
