Xiaomi Mi3 Vs Xiaomi Mi4: these two smartphone are now making noises as they are conquering the Android marker.
Since Xiaomi's first smartphone launch in 2011 it made a remarkable sale.
Xiaomi's selling point is its affordability and functionality and will be Apple's rival when it arrives in China.
Xiaomi Mi3 is now slowly rolling out in some various countries while Xiaomi Mi4 was just announced in July.
Let's take a look at these two smarphones' specs and features to see which is more functional.
Design and Screen
Surprisingly these smartphones follow the lare screen trend.
Xiaomi Mi3 and Xiaomi Mi4 shares the same resolution and screen display. They both features a 5-inch Full HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution.
Though Xiaomi Mi3 is an older version it features a lighter weight at 145 grams and 0.32inch thick, compared to Xiaomi Mi4's 0.35inch thickness and 149 grams weight.
But Xiaomi Mi4's dust and water proof exterior is a great advantage.
Performance
The Xiaomi Mi3 is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and supported by a 2Gb of RAM.
On the other Xiaomi Mi4 features a more powerful processor, it runs in a 2.5 GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and a 3GB of RAM which is a gig higher than of Mi3.
Both phones runs in Android 4.4 KitKat, but the Mi4 comes with the newest MIUI 6 out of the box.
Camera
Both sports a 13MP rear camera, while features a different front camera. The Xiaomi Mi4's front camera is a better snapper than of Xiaomi's 2MP front camera.
Battery
These smartphones are backed by powerful batteries. 3050 mAh for Xiaomi Mi3 and 3080 mAh for Xiaomi Mi4.
Prices
The 16GB of the Xiaomi Mi4 will be retailef in China for an approximately $320, and 64GB s for $405.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi3 has a price cut down after Mi4's official announcement. 16GB version is now for sale at $270 with its 64GB variant at $320.
These two smartphones is expected to roll out in various Asian countries. There were no words from the company if it'll be available in the US.
