The New Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal has been released for viewers to see. It is currently being produced as part of the Sailor Moon franchise's 20th year celebration, and is also being produced by Toei Animation.

"Usagi is a little clumsy and a crybaby, but she's also one spirited eigth grader. One day she meets Luna, a black cat with a crescent mark on her forehead, and transforms into the pretty sailor-suited guardian of love and justice, Sailor Moon! As a chosen guardian of justice, Usagi apparently has a mission to protect a princess, and to find her fellow Guardians and the Legendary Silver Crystal. Meanwhile, Queen Beryl of the Dark Kingdom sends her subordinates to the town where Usagi lives. They cause strange events to occur there, all in an effort to acquire the tremendously powerful Silver Crystal...
Can Sailor Moon and the other Guardians successfully find the Legendary Silver Crystal, and protect the princess?"

As to the latest Act, here is a Sailor Moon Crystal Recap according to Straw Burry 17:
"This episode starts where we previously left off when Sailor V is face to face with the other sailor scouts while Zoisite lies in defeat.
Artemis tells the sailor scouts that Sailor Venus is the heiress of the Moon Kingdom Princess Serenity. Apparently, Sailor V ( Princess Serenity) knows where the Legendary Silver Crystal is hidden, but we learn from Usagi's dreams that Sailor Moon is really Princess Serenity and Sailor Venus is just her decoy.
We are then directed to Queen Beryl telling Queen Metalia about the Princess. Queen Metalia orders Queen Beryl to capture Princess Serenity to find out where the Legendary Silver Crystal is hidden.
Afterwards, there is a blackout in Tokyo that was caused by one of Queen Beryl's minions. It was Kunzite and he threatens to destroy Tokyo if Sailor Venus doesn't meet with him. Kunzite uses his powers to shut down Tokyo's electricity and drain the citizens' energy. Sailor Venus tries to fight off Kunzite alone, but luckily the other sailor scouts showed up in time to help her out.
The sailor scouts do their best to defeat Kunzite together, but Sailor Moon ends up in danger once Kunzite targets her with his incredibly strong powers. Tuxedo Mask appears and shields Sailor Moon from the blast, but unfortunately we will find out what happens in the next episode."
