There's no stopping the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, from always bringing in good news to its avid users. It has recently announced that their 4G version of Redmi 1S and Redmi Note has been made available among its consumers in China at least for now, and can be purchased directly from the company's official page. The price range for the Redmi Note 4G version is at 999 Yuan or roughly $163, while Redmi 1S 4G variant can be bought at the price of 699 Yuan or $114. Xiaomi promises to deliver the devices 7 days after the date of purchase, and can even be arranged should one prefers it on contract with one of the Chinese carriers.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S 4G (also known as Hongmi 1S) features a 4.7-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB). This low cost but high-quality device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz which comes with an Adreno 305 GPU. The back of the device has an 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash while the front has a 1.6-megapixel shooter. Redmi 1S ships with Android 4.3 JellyBean OS out of the box with Xiaomi's MIUI 5 OS on top of it. It is packed with a 2000mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 64GB. The device features the same processor and GPU as the Redmi 1S. It also takes pride of a 13-megapixel camera on the back, while you get a 5-megapixel shooter up front. Android 4.2 JellyBean comes pre-installed on this phone with MIUI 5 OS on top of it. The device is packed with a 3200mAh battery.
