Former Gossip Girl star Blake Lively reveals that she has yet to indulge in a pregnancy craving.
In an interview by Us Weekly, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star said that she has not yet had any pregnancy cravings at the moment. She revealed this on her red carpet debut ate the 2014 God's Love We Deliver, Golden Hearts Awards in New York City last Thursday.
Yet, the eager mom-to-be has been dreaming of this moment for a very long time now. She said, "It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl. I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here."
The former star has described herself as a "foodie and cook" in an interview with marieclaire.com last January 2013. Lively idolizes Martha Stewart and gourmet and foodwriter Nigella Lawson. She had baked a cake with Martha Stewart in the latter's television show in 2008. An avid baker and foodie, Lively spoke of her desire to return to the culinary school to learn more about the craft.
In 2010, Lively spent an evening working as a pastry chef at Per Se in New York City. A year after, the former actress created S'mores cupcake to be sold at Sprinkles bakeries. In 2013, she filmed a cooking segment for Vogue's website and showed the public how to make a brie pastry.
Lively began dating Ryan Reynolds, who is ten years her senior, in October 2011 and married on September 2012 at Boone Hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. On October 2014, the 27-year-old celebrity announced her pregnancy through her fashion website Preserve.
Lively seems excited for her future baby as she was spotted last October 17 shopping for baby clothes at the Giggle store.
