Gotham TV Series News: A Crossover Episode With CW Network's Arrow? Speculations Fueled By Appearance Of Queen Consolidated In The New Fox Series

| By

Will fans receive Gotham TV series news in the coming days concerning the show's possible crossover to Stephen Amell's Arrow? These talks didn't come from nowhere. Regardless of the fact that the Batman-inspired show is with Fox and the Green Arrow is aired in CW Network, fans can't help it but hope that Jim Gordon (played by Ben McKenzie) and Oliver Queen (played by Amell) will cross paths. This is after some viewers with microscopic eyes caught a glimpse of the Queen Consolidated logo during one of Gotham's episode. Gotham also featured the Dollmaker who previously appeared in the second season of Arrow.

Were they hints that there will have a Gotham TV series - Arrow crossover episode or are they just pure coincidence/honest mistake? It is no secret that Batman and Arrow were from the same DC Universe. It is also hard to stop fans from thinking what they are thinking because of the highly publicized The Flash Series-Arrow crossover episode.

This is what Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim thinks about these talks.

"The internet did point out to me the Queen Consolidated [logo] - or what looked like a Queen consolidated Easter egg. I'm still actually trying to find out how intentional that was. Let me just say the investigation is ongoing," he said.

"[The Dollmaker] I think it's a great thing that we have all these DC shows and all these superhero shows, all these comic book shows... It's wonderful, and whenever they can connect together that's great. But I also see the benefit of not being tied to one continuity, so your hands are not tied."

As for Danny Cannon, Guggenheim's counterpart in Gotham TV series, he insisted that featuring the Queen Consolidated logo was unintentional and that they only allowed it there because they were moving fast on the set.

"I gotta tell you, i[the Queen Consolidated logo] was completely unintentional," he said.

"Somebody spotted it in the cutting room, but we move so fast, we were like, 'that's cool, leave it in! don't talk about it!' We were stealing - the visual effects guys were stealing neon letters from other places, and that was one that worked. But it was unintentional... It's a very different tone, our show. [They're] apples and oranges."

So basically, fans should not expect any Gotham TV series news that concerns of a crossover episode. Sorry.
