After the recent unveiling of the newest iPad Air during the special Apple event, the anticipated unveiling of the iPad Pro did not happen. Rousing the question whether the device is real or a myth - making the release date rumors even more far fetched.
Apple recently unveiled the newest iPad series specifically iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, making Mac patrons even more excited, but not all of them. Some consumers were also awaiting the announcement on the anticipated iPad Pro, its release date, specs and news updates - however, not a peep was mentioned about the device.
Rumors about iPad Pro development surfaced online in 2012, with reports saying that the device is real and not a myth as Apple is allegedly in production of what is then known as iPad Maxi. Further investigation into the details, and considering Apple wasn't responsive of the rumor proved that a bigger iPad is actually more myth than it is real.
Later in 2013, again a bigger iPad - although not iPad Maxi - is rumored to be in development according to numerous websites. Bloomberg speaks of a source, confirming the iPad Pro is real and not a myth, as reports that Apple is producing a larger tablet, as in "the tablet that can replace your Surface Pro 3". The report continues to support the now-speculated existence of iPad Pro with an alleged comment from Apple's Tim Cook. He allegedly confirms the iPad Pro production as real, and that this is to address the dipping sales of the once hot-as-pancakes tablet.
According to Bloomberg, "The new iPad will have a screen measuring 12.9 inches diagonally. Potential customers for larger-screen iPads are businesses, where the device could take on more tasks of a traditional laptop computer."
Speculations on the iPad Pro release date rumors and specs also mention that the larger tablet will a higher resolution than its predecessors, and possibly a 2GB RAM, with an A8X chipset. Upon the iPad Pro release date, it will be available in variants of 16, 32, 64 and 128GB.
iPad Pro release date rumors have scheduled the real or myth tablet to be on 2015, possibly by Q2.
