49-year-old Anger Management actor Charlie Sheen breaks off engagement to adult film star Brett Rossi. This is just weeks before their wedding that's supposed to be in November. The reason behind this? Sheen says he decided to focus more on his children rather than a new relationship.
According to the former Two and a Half Men star, "Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list," He continued in a statement he released to the Daily News via his publicist Jeff Ballard, "She's a terrific gal-but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together."
According to the actor, "I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have a tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best."
Sheen has been married three times and has five children and one grandchild. Had he decided to push through with his wedding in November, Rossi would have been his fourth wife.
Sheen had his first daughter, Cassandra Jade Estevez in 1984, with his former high school girlfriend, Paula Profit. Through Cassandra, Sheen has one granddaughter named Luna who was born on July 2013.
On 1995, Sheen married his first wife, Donna Peele. Sheen and Peele divorced a year after.
Sheen met actress Denise Richards on the set of Good Advice in 2000 but did not begin dating until October 2001. Richards then guest starred on Sheen's TV show Spin City. That same year, they got engaged and married on June 2002. Sheen and Richards have two daughters together, Sam J. Sheen born on 2004 and Lola Rose Sheen born on 2005.
In March 2005, Richards filed for divorce due to her husband's alcohol and drug abuse as well as threats of violence. The divorce was finalized in 2006, preceded by a custody dispute over their children.
In 2008, Sheen married his third wife Brooke Mueller and had twin sons, Bob and Max on 2009. A year after, Sheen filed for divorce.
In February 2014 Sheen became engaged to 25-year-old former adult film star Brett Rossi whose real name is Scottine Ross.
