Jennifer Aniston has been treading water, so to speak, when it comes to her two-year old relationship with Leftover actor Justin Theroux. Has she issued ultimatum to her fiancé? Or, are they off to a secret wedding in Mexico soon, as reported by Glamour Magazine?
Friends of the 45-year-old Friends star have been voicing out their thoughts that her beau isn't too keen on bringing their romance to a higher and deeper level called marriage.
In an article that came out in British magazine Grazia, one source said, "Several of Jen's friends, including Chelsea Handler and Demi Moore, are thought to have urged caution over Justin's reluctance to carry out the wedding, pointing out his reputation as a huge commitment-phobe...Even Justin's own friends have joked that his line 'we're not on anyone else's time frame,' should be 'we're not on any time frame'."
Chelsea Handler is getting annoyed being asked about it. In an article by Kimberly Ripley, she said, "Everywhere I go, people ask me about Jennifer Aniston's wedding. Do you know what it's like to walk down a red carpet and [reporters] go 'When are Jen and Justin [Theroux] getting married?' like I'm in charge of that."
Observers believe that Justin, who had a 14-year relationship with Heidi Bivens that ended in 2011, developed marriage phobia, referring to wedding as a piece of paper. A source said the 43-year-old actor was hesitant to "even discuss the kind of ceremony he'd like with Jennifer." This is too bad for Jennifer not just for sincerely wanting to live with Justin as wife, but for her bruised ego since ex-husband Brad Pitt married Angeline Jolie.
In a recent trip to Bora Bora, Jennifer was said to be indirectly conveying the message to Justin how she wanted their wedding to be in such beautiful setting.
