Naughty Dog and Sony Computer Entertainment's collaborative effort on "Unchartered 4: A Thief's End" is finally coming out. News on character Nathan Drake, release date, story and updates have also been revealed.
The third-person shooter action-adventure game is the sequel to "Unchartered 3: Drake's Deception" released in 2011. It is the seventh game release of the "Unchartered" series, and fourth in the main series of video games.
Development for the "Unchartered 4: A Thief's End" was officially announced in November 14, 2013 during Spike TV's PS4 launch. Creators also reveal that "Unchartered 4: A Thief's End" will only be available for the PS4 console.
Recent update news on "Unchartered 4: A Thief's End" reveal the main character, Nathan Drake as he is seen in a teaser photo released by Naughty Dog in an event in California.
Here Nathan Drake will be much older compared in the previous installments. Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, creative director and game director, respectively, shared during E3 2014 the character updates, story and gameplay upon the "Unchartered 4: A Thief's End" release date.
On Nathan Drake's ageing, they comment, "We're all ageing with Nathan Drake." As the short trailer unleashed as well as the photo show crow's feet on Nathan Drake's face as he lays on the edge of a river.
Druckmann also shares the story behind the gameplay, upon the "Unchartered 4: A Thief's End" release date. He says, "Our motto on 'Uncharted 2' was always, 'Keep it core.' No matter how big the set pieces get, keep it on the control stick, keep the core system. So taking that into 'Unchartered 4: A Thief's End' is like, OK, knowing we want to keep it core how do we expand Nathan Drake's core move set? How do we build more systems that will give the player more options, more ways to approach, whether it's exploration, traversal or combat."
"Unchartered 4: A Thief's End" release date remains on a vague 2015, most likely early during the year, as Naughty Dog shares its "very soon."
