Apple has good news for iPod users this month, because iPod Touch 6G or iPod Touch 6th Generation has confirmed its release date.
In a report by The Mobile Hub, the iPod Touch 6G release date will accord with iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 launch, which is scheduled to happen during Apple's upcoming iPad event. The awaited Apple iPad event is scheduled for October, a month after the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launch event.
The past few months has been shocked with a lot of tech news regarding the release of Apple's two new versions of its iPhone. Though, the iPhones are not the only product on everyone's minds, many people are also eyeing towards the Cupertino-based tech giant for another product - the iPod Touch 6G.
Tech experts have pointed out the 5th Gen iPod Touch that was released two years ago, garnered a lot of positive reviews for the major changes applied in the iPod Touch line, including its 4-inch display, a slim body, and multiple color options. It was also integrated with Siri and iSight to virtually match with the iPhone device.
Some also believe that the tech giant could produce the same pattern with the so-called iPod Touch 6G and release it in the aftershock of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Along with the reports, the new iPod device will be incorporated with the upcoming iOS 8, the latest OS which will be available for download this week, and the Touch ID; an Apple's signature tool for greater handiness and security.
There may be some rumors that are even claiming that Apple may not even launch an iPod 6G, the post on Phones Review website noted that it is more likely for the iPod Touch 6th generation release date or launch to occur earliest in October, together with the upcoming iOS slates, the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.
