Courtney Cox-led television series "Cougar Town" season 6 spoilers have reached the internet and although fans are raving that the show has been renewed, they're also heartbroken that this will be the show's final season.
ABC's "Cougar Town" premiered on September 23, 2009 but moved to TBS by the fourth season. The show focuses on Courteney Cox's recently divorced mother of a high-school teenager, Jules Cobb and her relationship with her best friend, co-workers, son, and well, her ex-husband.
Cast members include Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Josh Hopkins, Ian Gomez, and Brian Van Holt as Jules' ex-husband, Bobby Cobb.
TBS is proud to have the show in its line-up, with president of programming Michael Wright commenting, "Cougar Town has everything we hoped it would be: a smart, big-hearted, laugh-out-loud comedy that shines light on the TBS brand."
The series was widely positively received during its first seasons, with constant drop in the viewership as it progressed. Beginning with 11 million viewers, fans remaining glued to their television sets totaled roughly 6 million.
In an early interview with Telegraph, Courteney Cox talks about her show "Cougar Town": "Some people were offended by a show about cougars. Personally, I didn't have a problem with it. I though sexually it was pretty bold and out there; I liked that, but to appeal to the masses the focus had to shift, so now its not about my life with younger men, it's my life with friends."
Despite its continued decrease in audiences, the show has been officially renewed for its sixth year, with "Cougar Town" season 6 spoilers abound, albeit it will be the show's final chapter.
"Cougar Town" season 6 spoilers reveals that Brian Van Holt who plays Bobby Cobb, ex-husband to Cox's Jules has decided to leave the show early in season 6. According to TV Line, "According to a C-Town insider, Van Holt - who recently wrapped production on the Syfy limited series Ascension - is leaving early to pursue other opportunities."
