On September 12 at around 2AM, Nick Diaz was arrested along East Pine Street in Stockton, California by Corporal Eric Bradley, reported the Lodi Police Department. He was reportedly driving under the influence.
According the MMAFighting.com, the events leading to his arrest began as he was stopped for a routine check: "Diaz did not resist arrest, however, during the process of his arrest, he was given an option of either submitting to a breath or blood sample to test his sobriety. Diaz elected to submit a breath sample, but requested to use the restroom first. Officers allowed him to do so, however according to Maynard, Diaz used the opportunity to attempt to induce himself to vomit several times, in the process ignoring repeated commands from the officers to stop."
This attempt causing him another charge of obstructing a police officer and destruction of evidence.
