Fans can't get enough of the magic and wonder as creators of the box office hit "Now You See Me" reveals release date, cast and plot details of the upcoming "Now You See Me 2: The Second Act".
The aptly titled sequel "Now You See Me 2: The Second Act" comes to theaters upon its June 10, 2016 release date with returning cast members and new actors joining the magic.
Production details of "Now You See Me 2: The Second Act" include Jon M. Chu as director, who is known for his work in the 2013 science fiction film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" as well as the "Step Up" franchise. He will be joined by returning cast members that includes the original four horsemen minus Isla Fisher who bowed out of the film due to her pregnancy.
Returning cast members include Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Jesse Eisenberg of the four horsemen, and Mark Ruffalo. "Now You See Me 2: The Second Act" will also showcase the talents of "True Blood's" Lizzy Caplan and "Harry Potter's" Daniel Radcliffe.
In early reports, the sequel title was said to be "Now You See Me 2: Now You Don't"; however, recent official announcement reveal that indeed a better, "Now You See Me 2: The Second Act" is set in place. Initially, Morgan Freeman also was said to return for the sequel, but now his name seems to be off the roster. Returning to "Now You See Me 2: The Second Act" also includes Michael Caine.
"Now You See Me 2: The Second Act" plot hasn't been officially announced yet, but speculations point towards the revenge of Arthur Tressler's son, Walter, to be portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe.
Filming of "Now You See Me 2: The Second Act" began late this year in London and production continues to meet its June 10, 2016 release date deadline.
