Keira Knightley has a lot to celebrate this December! Aside from her Screen Actors Guild best supporting actress nomination for her role in “The Imitation Game”, multiple sources have confirmed that the 29-year old actress is pregnant and is expecting her first child with husband James Righton of the Klaxons.
In November, the rumors about the brunette beauty being pregnant first emerged when Star Magazine reported that the couple were happy and surprised that they were expecting. A source of the publication said, “Keira and her stylist have been putting together looks that hide her growing bump.”
At the Moët British Independent Spirit Awards, Knightley was reportedly seen avoiding any alcoholic drink. People who were present at the event noticed that her mid-section looked clearly fuller than usual, and her dress choice was a very different compared to the tight-fitting gowns she's been known of wearing.
Among the other nominees mentioned are Jennifer Aniston, Benedict Cumberbatch and Reese Witherspoon. Next year, at the SAG Awards, she will go up against Meryl Streep (“Into the Woods”), Naomi Watts (“St. Vincent”), Emma Stone (“Birdman”) and Patricia Arquette (“Boyhood”) for the title of outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role.
The Screen Actors Guild Awards is one of the most anticipated red carpet events in the industry, the nominees are selected by 4,200 SAG members each year, including 2,100 members who select honorees in film, and the other half in television. The selection process for each category will then be made by all 4,200 members. The SAG will air on January 25, 2015.
Knightley and Righton were married in May of 2013 in the South of France after dating for two years.
