‘Crimson Peak’ News And Updates: Guillermo Del Toro Talks Release Date And Trailer Details Of The Upcoming Tom Hiddleston-Led Gothic Horror Film

| By

Another Guillermo del Toro film is set for the big screen, to be led by English star Tom Hiddleston. Del Toro talks "Crimson Peak" details including updates on release date and when fans will get to see the first trailer release of his gothic horror masterpiece.

In a recent interview with Wall Street Journal, director Guillermo del Toro shares about the scheduled October 16, 2015 release date of "Crimson Peak" which stars Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska. He says, "Well, since we have the luxury of time because the movie doesn't come out until October next year... originally, I was going to deliver it in December, and I'd been able to try different things, different cuts, tweak the effects, tweak the music, probably more than any movie I've ever done. I have the license now to deliver the movie in January or February. It's frankly addictive to have that much time."

Hopefully though, del Toro doesn't get too amused with time and does actually stick with the October release date as fans worldwide could not seem to wait any longer to see their favorite stars including Tom Hiddleston in a romance-gothic tale on the big screen.

Del Toro also shares a bit about when the trailer of "Crimson Peak" will be released for the public to see. In an interview with Clevver he shares, "I think we're going to do it by the end of the year. We're going to start with a teaser and then start campaigning early next year. We still have a long was to go."

Upon the "Crimson Peak" release date, audiences will experience a crumbling mansion in Cumbria, a count in North West England, inhabited by husband and wife, Sir Thomas Sharpe and Edith Cushing. The husband in "Crimson Peak" will be played by no less than Tom Hiddleston, and Mia Wasikowska as Edit Cushing. Wasikowska is known for her work in "Alice in Wonderland" as the main character.

Other cast members of "Crimson Peak" include Charlie Hunnam ("Pacific Rim") and Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty"), with Burn Gorman and Doug Jones.
