BBC America has confirmed that "Orphan Black" Season 3 is expected to be released in the spring of next year.
The network has also released some of the questions that will be answered in the upcoming third installment of "Orphan Black." The official press release has also confirmed the characters and casts who will return in season 3.
Based on the released statement, it seems that the heroine clones will have to confront a set of male solider clones. The clone sisters Alison, Cosima, Helena and Sarah must cast aside their differences put up a united front in order to survive and find out the mysterious people who seek to control them.
Tatiana Maslany will be all over the "Orphan Black Season 3" as she plays multiple roles of her clones. Ari Millen will return to the series as Mark, a follower of the Prolethean Cult and Rudy as the cult's prisoner. S. Evelyn Brochu will again return to her role as the scientist Delphine who is also the lover of Cosima. Michiel Huisman will play the role of Cal who is the father of Sarah's baby.
Other casts include Jordan Gavaris who will play the role of Felix, Dylan Bruce as Hot Paul, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Mrs. S, Kristian Bruun as Donnie, Sklyer Wexer as Kira, Kevin Hanchard as Art and Zoe De Grand Maison as Gracie.
BBC America has announced earlier this year that "Orphan Black" will be renewed for a third season. Fans can expect ten episodes for this third installment. Production has also started in Toronto and is expected to be finished by March of next year.
"Orphan Black" is based on life of Sarah who is an orphan and a hustler. She took the identity of a suicide victim who looks like her. She was shocked to find out that she and the victim are in fact, clones. She also found that there are other clones like her who are being killed by a determined assassin.
